Passing of a man who is more than legend. A man I could have lent my bass to (when Blues Brotthers did a Turkey tour many years ago if a sub, who did borrow my bass, hadn't come instead).

There are lots of "greats" in the bass playing world, but Duck Dunn was one of the few to really deserve the adjective.

Just saw the news. Came here to co-miserate with my guitar brethren. According to Steve Cropper, he had just finished two shows earlier that evening.
