<title>Is the party over? Time to Close the Diner Doors?</title>
<link>http://guitardiner.com/cgi-bin/newforum/gforum.cgi?post=561488;do=post_view;page=unread#561488</link>
<description>There is more traffic, if you can call it that, in the Grill Room than here. The traffic here mostly consists of my Happy Birthday posts and Caption This.
No one stepped up to help with the techy stuff and no one is bringing in new blood. The &#039;atta boys&#039; and &#039;thanks&#039; just aren&#039;t enough, after almost eleven years, to keep me motivated. Hell, I&#039;m still without an instrument!
Our domain needs to be renewed in August and another donation drive would be needed to stay open.
If someone wants to keep the doors open, shoot me a PM.
It makes me sad to post this but I think the Diner has used up its fifteen minutes of fame. I know this has been home for many of you and sort of my security blanket. This was a joyous group with lots to say. Now there&#039;s just a few of us left and no one has much to say that hasn&#039;t already been said.
Without some serious reasons from the members and an infusion of cash I can&#039;t see why we shouldn&#039;t close the doors at the end of the month.
On the other hand, maybe I just need to adjust my meds and build a grow room or move to a State where secondary meds are legal to possess and grow!
All of the above aside, I&#039;d rather not give up and fade away into that good night. There are still great people here!

<description>
Of when the death penalty should NOT be used.
Because while she was convicted, and I don&#039;t have a problem with her conviction, I think it is possible that new information could overturn the conviction.
And if she&#039;s dead... well, that&#039;s a problem.
Death penalties should only be applied when there is no reasonable expectation that new information could overturn the verdict. When you pretty much have all the information already.
But no one was there. No one saw the murder.
Is that a fuzzy and very hard to judge line? Yes it is. But it&#039;s better than nothing.
Man, once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without rudder, is the sport of every wind. <title>Princeton Amp question</title>
<link>http://guitardiner.com/cgi-bin/newforum/gforum.cgi?post=561464;do=post_view;page=unread#561464</link>
<description>Besides the obvious Reverb or lack there of. Is there much difference between a Princeton and a Princeton Reverb amp back in the Blackface/Silverface days? I recently ran across a silver face Prinston for considerably less than the current Princeton Reverb RI is going for and I wondered what was the better deal. Also has anyone had any experience with the Princeton Recording RI amp of a a few years back?

<description>What an amazing performer. Real country music, no BS. This guy should be huge, but instead we get Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldeen. A Johnny Cash tribute singer opened the show, and the lady who played June was impressed as hell that a young dude like me knew all the lyrics to his songs.

So why not My First Rifle? In hot pink?
But you know, when a 5 year old takes one of these, didn&#039;t know it was loaded and shoots his 2 year old sister, it was just &amp;quot;one of those crazy accidents&amp;quot;.
Stop with your draconian attempts at restricting gun ownership!
We all know this wouldn&#039;t have happened if the 2 year old had been armed. I bet that 5 year old would have really thought twice about pointing the gun at her then.
